Objectives:

• Increase productivity of 2 galvanizing lines from 450K Tons to 650K Tons per year
• Increase speed on the 2 lines; Line 1 from 90 to 120 meters per minute - Line 2 from 90 to 140 meters per min

Services provided:

Phase 1 :weeks 51,52 /2006 and 01/2007

• Raised galvanizing line 2 by 1050 mm to install horizontal accumulator
• Fabricated and installed horizontal accumulator; 40 meters long, 4 strands.
• Delivered and installed 2 BS and 3 vertical guide rolls ( diameter 800 chromed)
• 15 people, 2 shifts, 20 days

Phase 2 : Week 08/2007

• On line 2 dismantled reduction gear sets, 2 coilers, changed and reassembled gearing. Changed and motorized gears of flattener under tension
• Modified gears and motors of 3 BS
• 15 people on 2 shifts and 7 days

Phase 3 : August 2007

• On line 1, modified painting line; Head n° 2, dismantled 4 induction systems (field systems, cabinets, ondulators) Head n° 2 aeraulic system
• Assembled 4 Celes field systems fabricated and laid new ducting.
• Moved BS 2
• 20 people, 2 weeks, 2 shifts

Phase 4 : Decembre 2007

• Dismantled Selas furnace – top part of furnace, preheating furnace, fume recovery system dia 1600
• Assembled new pre-heating furnace , frame, lock chamber,fume recovery system (CMI supplies)
• Designed , pre-fabricated , assembled instrument piping
• 20 people, 2 shifts, 25 days
